Mercedes Benz unveiled earlier this year the updated C-Class model. But now we have the new 3 Series from BMW that will compete directly with the updated C Class.
After we unveiled yesterday a photo comparison between the new 3 Series and Audi’s A4, we decided to create a new photo comparison showcasing the design lines of the two vehicles.
The front bumper of the C Class has a more expressive and dynamic contour, the front section being brought closer to the brand’s new design idiom.
The saloon and estate now have a new aluminum bonnet, which contributes to weight reduction and therefore fuel efficiency.
A visual base in the lower section of the headlamp is formed by a horizontal broadband LED indicator unit. The horizontal LED daytime running lamps in the bumper also make the C-Class unmistakable from a distance.

Inside the C Class has been restyled to reflect that of the E-class, with an angular instrument binnacle and improved materials.
But now, the new BMW 3 Series is here and comes with a lot of new tech gadgets, improved efficiency and new engines. Moreover, all the engines in the new BMW 3-Series will be fitted with the stop / start technology and the vehicles will feature the Driving Experience Control.
BMW says the 320d EfficientDynamics Edition will be the most fuel efficient version, burning just 4.1 liter every 100 km in an average cycle and emitting 109 g/km CO2, all of this from its 163 horsepower engine.
However, Mercedes has its C 180 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY – 120 hp burning 4.8 liter every 100 km in an average cycle. Not bad but the 3 Series has 43 more hp and burns less fuel!
