Rides : Check Out The Audi SR8 by Hofele Design

The German tuner Hofele Design is offering an upgrade kit for the Audi A8 (D4 Series), named the SR8, which is coming with both visual modifications and a small power boost which will make every most owners of the luxurious sedan to order it.

When we first heard about the Hofele Design upgrade kit which is named the SR8 we didn’t know what to think, is it a modifier R8, did the tuner placed the RS badge the other way around and it’s actually an RS8? A confusing name on a confusing car because apparently the upgrade kit offered by the German tuner doesn’t do that much.
But first thing’s first and Hofele Design has played with the A8’s exterior by fitting it with a new front bumper, a revised grille and a rear diffuser, along with a trunk-mounted spoiler, a sports exhaust system and a variety of 20 and 22 inch alloy wheels lo highlight the suspension which is lowering the car by 40 mm at speeds less than 70 km/h.
Hofele Design says that the 4.2 liter V8 gasoline engine is now delivering 390 horsepower instead of 372 and the diesel unit has 40 horsepower more, from the standard 350 to 390 HP.
