Rides : Check Out The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Red Edition

The newest model in Bugatti’s supercar division lineup, the Grand Sport, doesn’t seem to be a success and while its older brother, the Super Sport, was a huge hit with its incredible top speed and acceleration time, this one managed to sell just 42 units out if the 150 available.

In a disparate move to attract the rest of the 108 customers to its Grand Sport, Bugatti decided to release a Red Edition at the Frankfurt Motor Show, which is actually nothing more than a new paint scheme on the same body with the same performance.
As a reminder, the Veyron Grand Sport, the world’s fastest convertible, is powered by an 8.0 liter W16 engine which is delivering 1.001 horsepower, pushing the supercar to a top speed of 407 km/h with its roof on, while as a cabrio, the top speed is limited to “only” 360 km/h.
If you chose to ride in it as a convertible, the solid roof must be left at home, but if rain starts, a soft-top is also available but it limits the supercar’s top speed to 130 km/h.
The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport is priced at 1.4 million euros and as we said before only 150 units have been made and the automaker managed to sell only 42 of them.
