After the concept version of the CR-V was shown earlier this year, Honda will remain faithful to that design as the latest images that ended up on the internet reveal just that. The Japanese automaker has released the first official picture of the CR-V this summer and the SUV will keep its aggressive stance from the concept.
Rumors are that the Honda CR-V SUV won’t get the 2.4 liter, four-cylinder engine which is delivering 180 horsepower and 161 lb-ft of torque as we announced a few months ago and the 2.0 liter petrol or 2.2 liter diesel units are more likely to power the vehicle with their 148 BHP.
No official details are known yet about the new CR-V considering that the SUV is one of the stars at the Orange County International Auto Show which is taking place in California this week, Honda will most likely release some info on the vehicle’s features, performance, fuel consumption or CO2 emissions.
The new Honda CR-V is expected to hit the UK showrooms late next year.
