Quintana

Headed out yesterday morning to Franklin canal. After much debate as where to go. There are a few areas that will produce some fish even with all the adverse conditions. Patterson (Bayou Teche) area is good area to go, its not effected by the tide cycle or the river stage. Henderson also has been producing some good numbers , you can check L.A. sportsman website to get some info. Again we decided to head to Franklin mainly because of higher gas prices and its the closes of the 3. We fished in Quintana with watermelon red senko's. The tide was high but the water was clear in the back of most of the locations. The senko's we fished wacky style. The bite was slow but steady and we used a anchor to hold us in the wind. All and all it was a good day. Well have a great week and be safe on the water.
