Here's a list of what I've been using on my face for work on a daily basis:

Urban Decay Naked Palette, UDPP Primer Potion, MAC Pressed Blot Powder in Dark, MAC Mineralised Skin-finish Natural in Dark, MAC Pro Longwear Foundation NC45, Maybelline Falsies Mascara, MAC KindA Sexy Lipstick
Eye-shadows L-R: Embark, Wood-winked, Amber Lights, Rice-paper

 Sigma Brushes: F30, E55, E40

Sacha Cosmetics Blushes: Orange Glow, Rouge Glow, Amber Glow
And a bonus! The Nivea Kiss of Milkand Honey lip-balm. I got this a few days ago but I'm already a 1/4 way through it! Huge review coming up.  Love this stuff

I also have reviews on a few products from Sacha Cosmetics including the blushes posted here.I didn't do swatches of the Naked palette or the MAC shadows because I figured that the blogosphere is already saturated with them but if you'd like to see them let me know.

Next up should b my skincare faves for the month of August....so until then...

Imperfect Rebel

I have the flu. It's horrible.
I had to take two sick days and even with all the Day and Ny Quil
and tons of liquids I still feel sick (boo hoo).

To make myself feel better, I put on a full face of make-up last night
and tried out my MAC Rebel lippie.

The look was great...the pics...blurry lol. I'll share them anyway :)

I soo want to wear Rebel to work but it may not be appropriate as  work in a legal office...I'm thinking of blotting it and wearing it as a stain...we'll see

Foundation: MAC Pro Longwear & Studio Sculpt NC45
Eyes: UD Naked Palette, MAC Rubenesque pp
Eyes: Night moth lip-liner, Rebel Lipstick

Updates/Where I've been/Upcoming posts

Well it's certainly been a minute. I've not been very busy but I am currently on vacation and recently returned from a trip to Trinidad and Tobago. So what have I been up to?

1. The bf and I parted ways. I've never talked about him in previous posts the way other bloggers do because I've been intent on keeping this blog limited to make-up and everything makeup related but it's been over a year and I've decided that maybe it's time to be a bit more personal with my posts...or maybe not...we'll see.

2. I did a mini makeup haul in Trinidad and I'll be making posts soon :)

3. I've been super obsessed with my Blackberry playbook lately and have been spending a lot of time just reading. I used to spend a ton of money buying books but these days I've been getting my fix through my playbook and this great (free) e-book site that I found called Free Book Spot. Even if you don't have an e-reader you can read from your PC (if you're so inclined). It's a fantastic site and I love it.

4. I LOVE Sophie Kinsella's Shopaholic series. I'm currently reading Shopaholic and Sister and it's hilarious! All the books are. I think anyone with a shopping addiction can identify with her (although she does go a bit overboard at times) and they're a perfect way to pass the time if you don't want to wrap your brain around anything with more depth.

5. I've been featured on yet another website!!! Quite an honor and I'm psyched to be on the Top 50 blogs for 2011. I found out because I usually take a look at my blog stats to see where my readership comes from and I was extremely elated to see that I was listed. :)

So that's me for now. I have a review (and pictures) of the UD Naked Palette to do, some NYX Jumbo Eye and Lip Pencil reviews, some SACHA cosmetics blushes and a few MAC lipsticks! I hope everyone's okay and stay tuned.

Quick update

Hey lovelies. Just a quick note tote to wish you all a happy Sunday and a great week ahead.
Also, yesterday I caved and ordered the Urban Decay Naked Palette on ebay after trying unsuccessfully to get it on ULTA, Urban Decay and Sephora (these sites don't accept international credit cards...booooo). Of course, I paid the ridiculous prices of $66.00 or a $48.00 palette :'( but I NEEDED to have it (yes I did. That's my story and I'm sticking to it).

It should get here in 2-3 weeks and I can't wait!! Needless to say I vowed that this was my last MU purchase for the year. Let's see how long that lasts lol.

Have a great Sunday folks!

I've been obsessed lately

With the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
After convincing myself that I didn't need this, I've managed to talk myself back around to 'I must get this'.
I've been trolling the internet looking for websites that ship internationally
as I don't want to pay the trumped up shipping rates for using a mail forwarding company (learnt my lesson from that one. SO not worth it).

My precious

How pretty is this? I know I've missed the boat on this one but I can't help it. I'm a sucker for nude/neutral shades and this one keeps calling to me.

Do you have this? What are your current MU obsessions?
