The automotive giant General Motors has managed to “catch” the award for the Hottest Car at the 2011 SEMA Motor Show for the second consecutive year with its popular Chevrolet Camaro, which was presented at the Las Vegas event in six different “shapes”: the COPO Camaro, the Camaro Hot Wheels, the Camaro Red Zone, the Camaro Synergy Series Concept, the Camaro 1LE Concept and the Camaro ZL1 Carbon Concept.
“After more than two years on the market, Camaro continues to inspire creativity and Chevrolet is thrilled to see that expressed in all the wonderfully personalized examples here at the SEMA Show. Camaro has always been a car customers love to personalize and we are doing all we can to support them and the aftermarket industry with parts and accessories that help turn their dreams into reality”, said the vice president of Global Chevrolet Marketing and Strategy, Chris Perry. The “Hottest Car Award” of the SEMA Motor Show was first handed out in 2010 so the Chevrolet Camaro is actually the only vehicle to receive the award. The SEMA award is recognizing the most accessory-friendly car based on the volume of aftermarket parts exhibited at the annual showcase of automotive performance and personalization.
