New Mercedes CLC to hit 2012 New York Auto Show

One of the most expected new models from Mercedes-Benz, the CLC sedan, will be officially unveiled during the next year’s New York Auto Show and, even if it hadn’t been confirmed, a new SUV, rivaling the BMW X6, might be presented during the same American event, and it may be called the GLC.
The new 2013 Mercedes CLC will be a four-door coupe with the same lines as its bigger brother the CLS and it will be the German automaker’s entry-level luxury market and rumors are that the new model will not be a stripped-down, price leader model, “this will be a real Mercedes-Benz”, as one of the company’s executives said.
As we said in the first paragraph, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer is also planning a new SUV and rumors say that both models will receive Mercedes’ new Modular Front Architecture (MFA), which is a front-wheel drive platform recently introduced on the new B-Class hatchback.
No more details are known about the 2013 CLC or the new GLC SUV and the models are expected to hit the 2012 New York Auto Show so stay tuned for more info.
