The Maranello-based automaker, Ferrari, has just announced the pricing details for the 2012 458 Spider in the United States, which is expected to hit the over-seas dealerships early next year, just like the new BMW M5 presented earlier.
As a reminder, the Ferrari 458 Spider is powered by a 4.5 liter V8 engine which is delivering a total output of 570 horsepower at 9.000 rpm and a peak of torque of 398 lb-ft available at 6.000 rpm. The V8 is mated to a dual-clutch seven-speed F1 transmission and the convertible can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds, the same as the coupe, and it can hit a top speed of 198 mph while the coupe can hit 200 mph.
